Personas
Personas let you customize Multi’s identity and communication style. They affect how Multi expresses itself - not its capabilities or available tools.
Managing Personas
Section titled “Managing Personas”Open the Multi panel → Settings (gear icon) → Personas.
Creating and selecting a persona
From here you can:
- Create - Click +, enter a name, write your persona content, and save
- Select - Click the radio button next to any persona to activate it
- Edit - Click a persona name to open it in the editor
- Delete - Click the trash icon (default
SOUL.mdcannot be deleted)
Selection options:
- None - Default communication style
- Default - Uses
~/.multi/SOUL.md - Custom - Your created personas stored in
~/.multi/soul/
You can also manually add .md files to ~/.multi/soul/ and click the refresh button to load them.
Personas vs AGENTS.md
