Resuming Tasks

Resume, don’t restart. When a task is aborted or hits an error, Multi continues from the last step instead of starting over.

Resume Button

After a task is aborted or fails, click Resume to continue execution from the last step. The full conversation, tool history, and workspace context are preserved.

Subagents Resume Too

Resume also applies to subagents. Any subagent that was aborted or errored can be continued without losing its own context, so parallel work picks back up cleanly.

• No context loss - messages, tools, and state are intact
• Works for both the main task and subagents
• Useful after network hiccups, provider errors, or manual aborts
