OpenAI

The OpenAI provider gives you direct, first-party API access to OpenAI models using your OpenAI API key.

Note

Looking to connect a non-OpenAI endpoint that speaks the OpenAI protocol (including Azure OpenAI)? Use the separate OpenAI Compatible provider instead, which is configured with an API Key, Base URL, and Model ID.

Setup

1. Get an API key from platform.openai.com
2. Open the Multi panel → Settings (gear icon)
3. Click Add Profile
4. Select OpenAI as the provider
5. Paste your API key (starts with sk-)
6. Choose a model
7. Save
